#53 – Headlights

They look at me,
A deer in headlights,
Like they’ve never seen someone like me before,

They beem those headlights before me,
You there,
You know what you want to do in life,
Which is quite rare and unsettling,

Betting on me to win,
Or,
Betting me to fail,
Who cares?

It’s my life,
I’ll move it like a jet plane,
Or,
A wee rowing boat,

As along as I fly,
Or,
Float,
All will glide and sway with the tide,

Come heavens,
Or,
Ocean depths,
I will never regret,
Knowing what I want to do with my life.

Neither should you.
